EVOLUTION

SERIES

Currently in progress in the artist's studio.

​

This series of porcelain sculptures features suggestions of possible beings whose physical forms have evolved from their dominant energy movements. These creatures inhabit with ease and grace terrain that we humans might find extremely challenging.

These works evolve slowly -- through the addition and subtraction of multiple layers of porcelain paper clay followed by rounds of carving into the whole to reveal the emerging form.
